This exhibition presents the work of sixteen international artists from the past ten years at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam.

Selected by Victoria Miro, who has a long association with the academy, the exhibition showcases a cross section of work including painting, photography, sculpture and video installation by former members of this prestigious European institution. Founded in 1870 by King William III, with collections rooted in the Dutch 17th, 18th and 19th Century, the Rijksakademie is an institute for 'research in the visual arts' offering a unique infrastructure for young artists from all over the world to develop their work by means of research, advanced study, production, projects and presentations.
