Hans Op de Beeck: Extensions

Extensions takes the viewer on a silent, nocturnal journey through dilapidated buildings, interiors, objects and anonymous characters that appear and disappear in the darkness. The animated film is based on black and white watercolors, based on photos from the internet, images from documentaries and educational videos. Extensions shows our technologically oriented and globalized environment as a black dream - a dark and elusive maze in which the individual tries to maintain himself through his rituals and habits.
