‘Backyard’ is a small scale model of an abandoned garden with a pond, bordered by a concrete fence.
The garden looks neglected and abandonned.The work is part of a monumental series of scale models made for the ‘Museum to Scale 1:7’ project, curated by Ronny Van de Velde, in which a large number of artists ‘filled’ a fictional to-scale museum gallery.
